I can see Blogname Adress Primary Dashboard Stats Publicize PostByMail PostByVoice
I do not understand what the use is of all this and do not want to see anything else but
Blogname Adress
How to remove all those other columns ?
Screen Options has Publicize, Post ByMail and PostByVoice
If I untick these, I still see Publicize and it becomes gibberish !
Dashboard:visible ; what does this mean ?? can I change to Hide ?
I use FireFoxThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Go to my blogs in your dashboard and click on the “screen options” tab and you can disable three of the columns, publicize, post by email and post by voice. The rest cannot be removed.

Thank you I wanted to know that as well :)
I unclicked publicize, post by email and post by voice but it always comes back.
Is it possible to have them permently removed?Thank you
-
Remove them by deselecting, then log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again. Browsers will pull stuff from their caches instead of requesting new files all too frequently, especially IE which will hang onto cached files for millennia.

Why would removing those columns be so complex ?
I wonder if WordPress.org also has these complications
As said, Publicize does not remove
I find WordPress.com has too many counter intuitive features
This is just the top of an iceberg -
How do you clear the browser cache (IE) : I cleared Temporary Internet Files and Cookies. Then restart the browser and log in to WP, but still no remedy
By the way, is it possible to edit a submitted question, f ex delete it if no more than 5 minutes have passed ?

Well, mine won’t let me hide them either now.
Contact staff at http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ .
As far as self-hosted vs hosted here, the “core” of wordpress is the same except with self-hosted you would not have a “my blogs” section at all because it is a stand-alone installation. In fact there would be a ton of features that are built in here that you would not have.
Editing is not allowed in the forums for about two years. There were some people abusing it so staff took that privilege away.

Thank you for your answers.
Oh well we just have to click them off each time :) I think I do have a spare fraction of a second to do it, lol.
