Can someone please help me because I bought this and my blog is LOST…nowhere…can someone please have customer service skills?

That is not my dashboard! It is to some random blog…not mine…doesn’t have my old posts / info / pages / template, etc. I can’t find my blog? My URL is not my blog and my dashboard is not my dashboard. Where is all my information and my blog???
-
The only two blogs on your amviscuso account are https://richinspice.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ and https://richinspicedotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
What is the URL of the blog you’re trying to access?
-
richinspice.com
I added the URL and paid for the update and it says it is my primary domain.
-
https://richinspice.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ is the Dashboard for richinspice.com
richinspice.com is mapped to richinspice.wordpress.com
-
That is not true because my blog is different and has content. I have no idea what i am seeing….this is an empty dashboard, a template i didnt pick out…all my info is gone?
-
Might it be that you are referring to http://richinspicedotcom.wordpress.com/ ?
http://richinspicedotcom.wordpress.com/ and http://richinspice.wordpress.com/ are both different blogs but they are registered under your account.
If you want you can delete http://richinspicedotcom.wordpress.com/ at Tools -> Delete Site in your Dashboard. Please read the warnings and advice before deleting a blog. We can’t revert blog deletion for any reason.Note that deleting the richinspicedotcom blog won’t affect your richinspice.com domain.
-
-
Would you please confirm the URL of your blog?
You mention that neither are your blog and your blog is “different and has content.”
http://richinspice.com/ is the same as http://richinspice.wordpress.com/ and has hardly any content.
-
Neither of those links go to MY blog. My blog has a beautiful template with pages and informaiton on restaurants and my family. I have been telling everyone that it was up maybe 4 days ago, but the dashboard i was logged into was not the dashboard to my blog. But I was able to see my blog.
Now….I can’t find my blog (it’s not the one at the URL) and my dashboard is to that random blog we see at the URL. What happened to my blog? I just purchased my host to renew and linked the name servers to word press and bought my domain upgrade from word press?
-
Perhaps you’re logged in under the wrong account, but we can’t tell without knowing the URL of the blog you’re looking for.
Perhaps you could find it via Google?
The only two blogs on your amviscuso account are http://richinspice.wordpress.com/ and http://richinspicedotcom.wordpress.com/
There has never been another blog under this account.
-
It should be richinspice.com…that is how you get to it….what i’m seeing is not it.
Ok- google rich in spice…you CAN see my blog come up in search and a post on Pravda.
It says…a Savvy, Spice loving foodie…etc etc…
However, when you click that link to go to MY blog…it brings up that other weird blog?
Please try doing that for me…
-
Ok, that used to be a self-hosted WordPress.org blog.
What you did was change the nameservers on your richinspice.com domain to point here and then you mapped it to your almost empty WordPress.com blog.
You’ll need to change your nameservers to point the domain back to your hosting provider.
-
Ok, I have NO idea what to do…can you give me clear cut steps?
My provider is Dream Host…Can you do this for me if I give you all my login info?
I really don’t get what you are saying (SOOOO HAPPY YOU KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON!!!) but NO clue how to fix this?
Should I cancel something? Do I even need Dream Host? Or the word press linking I paid for?
Can you fix for me?
Please?
-
You’ll first need to contact Dreamhost for what their nameservers are.
Then, contact your domain registrar about changing the nameservers.
Since this is outside of WordPress.com, we cannot do this for you.
You definitely need Dreamhost, since that’s where your blog is.
-
-
Your domain registrar is whomever you paid to register your domain name.
It appears to also be DreamHost, so just contact DreamHost about this and they’ll help you out.
-
Ok so I contacted Dream Host and I can see my blog!!!
But, when I log into my account on wordpress I can’t see my dashboard.
I need to see my pages, photos, etc so I can post and edit my pages.
Can you help me?
