Dashboard not working and can't add media to posts

    Hi,

    I urgently need help on my blog as I use it for university. The Dashboard doesn’t show all of the info and links on it to Support and Help do not work. When “Themes” is clicked on, this page is blank, so I can’t edit my theme if I wanted to. I also cannot add any media to a New Post when using “Add Media” button, although I can upload media to the library directly. I have followed all the advice on your other forums re. clearing history/cache, cookie settings etc. My friend has tried to log in to their WordPress account on the same computer and it works perfectly fine. It looks like some sort of bug on my particular WordPress blog, but I don’t have any web/coding experience to investigate myself. Please can you have a look ASAP as it is affecting my studies….     Hi, thanks. I have just realised that I also cannot preview any blog posts before they are published….however all of the issues I have mentioned were working fine about an hour and a half ago.

    I am finding more and more buttons in dashboard moribund!
    We should amalgamate threads on this latest problem.

    Indeed we ought to amalgamate threads and I’ll try and locate them all so this one will be the one we send bloggers with the same issue to.

    Thanks all for your patience. We deployed the latest changes to WordPress (the new version 3.8 that will be released soon) live today. In some cases, clearing your browsers cache will resolve the issue and we are checking our caches on our end as well.

    Not at my end. I restarted my normal browser (firefox), no change.

    Add my dashboard to one of the error problems.
    Media button and others appear to work when pressed, but only the buttons function. Unable to add photos. Tried different browsers and same results.

    Working on new material and need the dashboard to be functional.

    Despite the fact out blogs are not required to provide us with incomes, of course we all need and we all want a functional dashboard lol :D
    It appears Staff are doing some upgrading today that may or may not be a factor. http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2013/12/02/theme-widget-improvements/

    For all with issues, if you could report any JS console errors to me in this thread that would be great.

    In Chrome, right-click anywhere on the page and click “Inspect Element”, then choose the “Console” tab on the window that opens. Errors would be listed there.

    In Firefox, you can find it via the Tools->Web Developers->Web Console option. ( Screenshot: https://cloudup.com/cDgaTFLKDjl ).
