Dashboard not working in Firefox

  • Unknown's avatar

    Maybe, it’s firefox.. maybe not. When I open my dashboard in IE, the “Your Stuff” page works great. Do it in Firefox and all the info on the “Your Stuff” page is hidden somehow.
    I’m running Windows XP, have both Firefox and IE (obviously).

    Anybody else experiencing this?

    Try force-reloading your page, or try logging out, clearing your cache and then logging back in and see what happens.

    No problems here-same configuration as you. It does occasionally happen to me, but as Richard said, reload the page (Ctrl +R in FF).

    Okay, tried that, still no joy. Firefox won’t show me my stuff… forced reload or not.
    Anybody else?

    Try logging out and then clearing your cookies and then logging back in. What version of FF are you using by the way? 1.5.X and 2.0.X all seem to be fine.

    I think I’ve sorted this out now. I uninstalled firefox and re-installed it, more out of desperation and frustration than anything else.
    It seems to be working now.
    Thanks for trying to help.

    Glad you are back up and running. Plug-ins can sometimes cause issues, but I’m not sure which ones.

    Hi everyone,

    I’ve had serious troubles with pasting pictures in my posts when using Firefox V 2.0.0.7 – pictures kept disappearing. I’ve found out that it works fine with other browsers.

    So there are currenlty some trouble with Firefox…

    @magros-No trouble here using FF2.0.0.7 on XP Prof SP2. It would be great if you’d include a link to your site in your member profile so others could see what might be happening on your site.

    @magros

    To link your blog to your username, go to the top of the forum page, click “view my profile” then click edit and enter your wordpress.com blog URL in the “website” field and then click the “update profile” button.

    {waving to justjennifer}

    I also am having trouble with FF2.0.0.7. I’m running it on Windows 98 and wish I’d never “upgraded” at all. What I get is that a band of completely scrambled pixels about two inches wide will come up across the screen. Scrolling past it clears it up, but it happens quite consistently. I’ve been told it is some kind of javascript reading error.
