dashboard shows different theme than web address

    Disclaimer: I’m new at this.

    I activated my Elegant Themes theme the other day (Nexus). I uploaded a few pictures for the favicon and the logo on the top of the page.

    When I go to the address on any device, it looks fine, and exactly how I set it up, but today on my WordPress dashboard, it’s showing something completely different. It has a random stock photo and says I’m running the TwentyFifteen theme.

    I haven’t yet uploaded any content, so I’m not worried about losing much, but I’m wondering should I start over? Do I need to, or am I doing something wrong?
