Dashboard- Stalling

  I have been a dedicated blogger over the past 8 months and yesterday I created a new site. For some reason, when I came to edit the blog, it wouldn’t let me onto my Dashboard. I waited for 5 minutes but nothing happened, so I then logged off. I thought that perhaps there was a bug in the system or it was just my computer playing up. I logged on 5 hours later and it was still the same. I then guessed that it was my computer playing up. I checked WordPress’ very helpful forums and saw that I am not the only person having trouble with the Dashboard. Can anyone help me with a resolution to this problem? Please post ASAP.
