Dashboard stats dropped to zero hits
-
I posted a question two weeks ago, but it seems to have been deleted. So I’ll try again.
My WordPress blog is hosted by GoDaddy. I was stuck on version prior to 2.3.1 because I couldn’t find anyone at GoDaddy to tell me how to upgrade.
On April 2nd, my Dashboard stats went to zero hits and have stayed there. I used to average 30 hits a day for months and could see the search terms people used to find my blog, etc. I thought the problem might be due to having an out-of-date WordPress version, so I updated. My blog hits remain at zero. I subscribed to the GoDaddy stats service, which shows my hits being very healthy. I can’t figure out why the WordPress dashboard continues to show zero.
Warning: Conspiracy theory ahead.
Here’s a scary thought. Two days before my blog stats went to zero, I posted a video of the new Fitna movie about Islamofascism. Is it possible that the Dashboard stats are being censored so I can’t see how people are finding my site?

If your WP blog is hosted elsewhere, you probably need to contact staff to sort this out. I will tell you this: there is no way it’s deliberate payback because you posted something contentious. No. Way.
You think that’s contentious? It’s hardly a blip. I posted the manual of Afghani Jihad for god’s sake.
