Dashboard totally blank

Hey there, I have what I would consider a major problem and a minor. This has actually been going on for months, but I havent taken the initiative to sort it out until now.
I run the blog TwentySomethingsBlog.com – And all was going well until a few months ago. The problem I am having (as well as the other authors) is that we can log into the dashboard, but the page is totally blank. Its nothing but a white screen. I have tried using multiple different browsers, different computers, logging into WordPress.com instead of going through my blogs home URL.
The secondary issue I’m having is the MASSSIVE amounts of spam comments, is there a good way to fix this? Plug in? Application? It literally is in the thousands of comments a week, so deleting them by hand is rather tedious.
