Dashboard Unavailable
-
Trying to log in, but I get a screen saying “Unexpected maintenance” and that my dashboard would be unavailable for 730 days. I can get in under global dashboard, but can’t post. Can anyone explain what’s happening? Thanks

I get the same message and would REALLY like to know what’s going on. I can’t help but think this is some kind of cruel joke.

Same problem here. I’m just curious as you are.
And 730 days is a very long time, isn’t it? Is this message correct? -
I am getting this error as well for one of my blogs. I hope WordPress addresses it soon.

i also got the same message: “Sorry for the inconvenience, we are performing some unexpected maintenance. Your dashboard is going to be unavailable for 730 days.”

Well, looks like there’s a lot of pleople. I’m quite confident in WordPress good quality service, though.
I’m pretty sure they will address this problem soon.

Sorry for the trouble folks. There was a hardware failure that resulted in us having to move some things around a little bit. To ensure a smooth transition, a small percentage of dashboards were turned off for about 15 min. Unfortunately, when I put up the maintenance notification, I typed the year 2006 rather than 2008, so rather than 15 min, some people saw 730 days. Everything should be back to normal now, however.
