You can actually control not only the order of the blogs as they appear in the “my blogs” pulldown, but you can also hide unused blogs on your account so that they will not show in the pull down from the grey admin bar. They will always appear in the “my blogs” section of the dashboard and you can make them visible again with just a mouse click.
I have three blogs here that are set to private that I don’t use and I keep them hidden so that all that is on my “my blogs” pulldown are the blogs that I actually use.

How can I control the order of teh blogs in the “my blogs” pulldown.
This is not important issue but I am curious.
I have also searched explanation of the “primary” button; I am reading somewhere that it is the blog when I log in with my user name.
I tried that but has no effect. Not important issue either. -
In your dashboard under “my blogs” hover your mouse over the blog name and you will see “up” and “down” . Simply click on those and you can rearrange the list, which will be reflected in the admin bar drop down.
