Dashboard…Rearranging Deck Chairs…

On my way to elsewhere: I popped in on my blog to see what readers looked at today. Sheesh.
I’d so appreciate it if WP: would work on getting the Bugs–left-over from system-wide meltdown of August–OUT, before fooling around with bells, whistles, gee-whiz stuff. What WP did to the Dashboard: like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

The bands: top, bottom –in black??? Black, like that: the sign of Death notice. Hardly inspiring. –Everybody –suddenly didn’t like BLUE???

    Link –to Forum? MIA

Links –in aqua??? –uh, why? Rogal BLUE –links, all over the net, NOT good enough for WP???

What was “broken” with the previous?

Why didn’t I post this: on my own blog? Right now: I have 47–Forty-Seven posts –waiting to publish. Why? There are SOOO many bugs in my wedge of WP: I wait for lightening to strike, or some such, to get up the energy to fight the bugs long enough, to get ONE published. Last time I tried: a long post, took about two hours –to write, edit, proofread; to Publish: took five days. DAYS. Posts I published in March: Zero

Why didn’t I post this: on some (presumed) announcement of the Dashboard change? Duh, there isn’t any –no LINK/Announcement of it, or anything else, now, on Dashboard “Home” page.
    “Announcement” section: MIA

In days following August meltdown: when I couldn’t publish at all, I dragged some pages to a new host and created a new blog. First advertiser on the new blog: WP.

I way DON’T want this Dashboard. I will go Search, if there is a way to dump it, but little optimism. (WP: likes soothing praise; they don’t wanna know from ‘dissent’/non-praise….)

I loathe the colors –layout –links –missing links –rearrangement –and, btw, I hate the colors. “Old” Dashboard, even with all the bugs, superior. WHY is re-doing the non-broken: Priority over fixing bugs?

Where is the fun? WP: exhausting. For comparison: Blogger team has sent surveys asking me what: I like/don’t/needs change -which way/how –and I’ve replied, yet it took Five YEARS for them to change one significant thing I’ve complained about. –They don’t just ‘bomb’ bloggers
with new things. First: They put them on ‘try out’ page –work out bugs, probs, suprises –Long Time.

Maybe WP surprise (arrogance?) attack of “new” Dashboard a (final) sign, that: it’s time to find another (stable) host; move my WP blog….
