  I am using the free plan – How do I know how much data I have used so I dont go over or crash?

  Hosting on WordPress.com is free. You get 3GB of storage space to upload images and documents to your website.

  Wasn’t sure how long 3GB will last if I use a photo for each blog post?

  Rough calculation. You can set your digital picture size to anything you want. I think mine come out to 800 KB. But lets say 1MB to make easy calculations. 3GB is 3,000 MB (3,180 others may say, but there is some space used for thumbs and indexes so 3,000 is reasonable) So that would be 3,000 pictures at 1MB each.

  You can also use tools like TinyPNG to compress your images before uploading.
