database backup in.sql

  Dear WordPress team , I’d have an important inquiry: would you be so kind as to provide my database backup in .sql format? I didn’t find the service anywhere in my settings so if you could inform me on that or get it done for me me so I can get a hold of it. Thanks very much in advance!

  Hi,

  While we don’t provide a sql backup, you can export all your content by following the instructions here and download that backup file. You can also download any media files you’ve uploaded from your media library.

  Hi,

  oh, I see. Well is there any way for me to get the sql backup? My webhost requested it to make the server switch possible. And in the link given I cannot seem to find instructions on how to download the requested file, only the xml data.

  WordPress.com is a multiuser blogging platform and there is no sql backup provided.
