Database Connection Error

  Yesterday when trying to access my site I was getting a blank screen with ‘Database connection Error’ message. I’ve contacted my hosting company who stated that they can not find a database or backup for my site. Today when accessing my website link it shows the wordpress login page and wants me to go through the steps to set up a new site. Its like my website never existed. Can someone help lead me to a place I can get some answers?

  You could contact your web host. They should be able to fix this for you.
