database connection problem

I transferred my wordpress domain to another host. I didn’t have any problems until, yesterday when the site went off with a message saying there was a problem with the database connection. I installed the wordpress with the host’s one-click installation before the transfer. When I found out about the site not working, I deleted the wordpress install and re-installed it. Now when I when click on the test button (in the file manager) it takes me to a WordPress language select screen and then I have to create a new account. Before, I was redirected to my wordpress account.
What would be the best way to solve this problem, please.

Hi @dsdesignuk, these forums are for the sites hosted here at WordPress.com, but you might try the WordPress.org support forums to see if folks there have ideas:
http://wordpress.org/supportGenerally, though, I would think if you deleted your installation, you probably deleted any accounts on it at the same time. Hope you can sort this out!
