  I am considering WordPress for an ECommerce website and wonder how one goes about connecting a database with product and inventory information to the WordPress front-end.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes! Just as @timethief mentioned you can now integrate eCommerce features with the Business upgrade.

  Currently, you can connect to stores from Ecwid, Shopify, and ShopLocket.

  We currently have a free trial period (14 days) if you’d like to try it out before making the plunge and purchasing the entire upgrade. Even if you do, we provide full refunds on all upgrades up to 30 days, except for custom domains (the refund period for this would be 48 hours).
