Database recovery

    Having just accidentally deleted my database and lost a weeks work… would it not be a good idea to move a copy of a database to trash, as we do with pages, posts etc. What is more important? Recovering a page accidentally deleted, or recovering an entire dB accidentally deleted. I realise the delete is a function of the server CPanel, but would it not be possible to add this as a function of WordPress?
