Databases and daily automatic update

    Hi
    I have a database of basic info that i would need to show on my site. This data does change daily and i need that to be updated automatically from the database.
    Is this possible? I have the data on a Excel sheet/Google Sheet.

    Hi there – I have a few questions to try to help with a possible solution here.

    1. What is the site URL you are wanting this database to appear on?

    2. Is the data hosted online, and it is a publicly available document?

    For example, we do offer the ability to embed Google Docs on sites hosted at WordPress.com. Here’s more on that: https://wordpress.com/support/google-docs/

    Hi, thanks for the response.

    So i don’t have a URL yet, still designing and to see if WordPress can offer what i need.

    So the data will be on a Private Google Sheet doc and i want the data from there to be shown on table on my WordPress site. The data values would change daily and i would want that to be done automatically.

    You would be able to embed the Google Doc as explained in the link that @deancroyal shared above. If the sheet is private, nobody would be able to see it on your site.

    If that is not enough for you, you would want to look for a specific plugin – you can find those at WordPress.org/plugins. To be able to install plugins on a WordPress.com site, you would need plan Business.
