  can i hide the date of the date posted?

  Hi,

  You need CSS Custom Design upgrade in order to do it.
  Anyone can preview the Customize tools for free. If you haven’t purchased WordPress.com Premium or WordPress.com Business and would like to preview the tools, go to My Sites → Customize → Custom Design and click on the Try Now button.
  In order to save and apply changes to your site, you would need to purchase the Custom Design Upgrade, which you can do by going to → Store in your dashboard.
