Date and Time is incorrect.

It is about 9:39 p.m. on Thursday March 10, 2016 here in Fairbanks Alaska. I posted a BLOG post for class and the Date said March 11, 2016 and the time was about 6:06 a.m. How can I fix it to put my Time Zone (Alaskan Standard Time) in as the posted Date and Time?

You can change the time zone setting in the WP Admin dashboard>Settings>General>Timezone.

Thank you Jennifer. I found it about a half hour after posting on this forum. I actually found it by accident. I now have it corrected but was not able to go back and fix my dates and times of my original post. I guess it will only be correct going forward. Thanks again.

You’re welcome. The existing post date can be changed, but I wouldn’t recommend it now that the post has been published. It can create 404 errors if you do. Let this one go and know that future posts should show the correct date.
