Date Archive Missing Yoast
-
I installed the yoast plugin and at one point disabled the date archives, because I didn’t want those links to appear in Google.
But now, the archive date links on the home page are rerouted to the homepage, and didn’t realize it until now. Now, I reenabled the date archives in the yoast plugin, but the functionality is not restored.
Even now, the link goes straight to the homepage.
How do I restore the default date archive functionality for a site?
Thank you,
-
Hi,
What’s the url of your site?
Please note that we can only assist with WordPress.com hosted sites on this forum.
If your site is hosted elsewhere, you can ask for support in the WordPress.org forums:

I don’t want to post that on here. Is there a shotgun approach to take with wordpress? to repair the date archive function? Is there a php file that just needs to be replaced from a default installation?
The problem has to be with yoast. is there anything that can be done to restore the date archive function after removing yoast, or at least reenabling it on yoast?

Hi there, I see no WordPress.com sites associated with your username, and since you mention the Yoast plugin, I would suggest posting to the Yoast Plugin support page at WordPress.org.

Alternately, you can go to the Yoast website support page.
