  How do I change the date for my blog?

  The time for example, July 1st 1992.

  But that only gives option for the current date, I want an option that allows me to set a date back in time.

  Then you have to enter the Publish module on each and every post and change the datestamp in each one prior to publication. I know you are not scheduling a post but look at these images so you comprehend how to proceed.
