Date format in editor, stats etc
-
Is it possible to set preferences so I see dates in UK format when I’m working on the site, instead of US?
I know how to change the format of how the posting date is displayed on the website. But when I’m altering the date stamp or scheduling a post date/time, I have to think twice to work recognise 9/7/15 is 7th Sept, not 9th July. My tired and old little brain struggles. At least in the old WP-Admin, the drop-down box says 9-Sept so you know it’s referring to September.
Any way of changing preferences?
Thanks.

Note both the Date format and Time Format on the General Settings page provides different format selections, that allow you to make the choices you feel best fits the kind of blog you maintain. See here please https://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2013/09/08/its-about-time/ and scroll down to Setting Your date and Time Format.

@timethief, I’ve already said I know how to make the change in General Settings. What that seems to do is change how the date is displayed in posts.
But it isn’t making any change to the Dashboard and editor settings. So when I’m editing a post and need to change the date stamp or to schedule it, or when I’m looking at stats, the date is still in US format.
