Date format in new dashboards activity widget

  The date format in the new Activity widget isn’t internationalized. I can’t find a string in translate.wordpress.com to change that either.

  Although my blog language is set to ‘German’ the date reads:

  Nov 29th, 16:23

  Better would be:

  29. Nov, 16:23

  Have I missed something?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Just an idea but is your date formatting already setup?

  Yes it is. :)

  It’s currently set to ‘Custom: l, j F Y’ which gets me something like:

  Thursday, 5 December 2013

  All other dates (Blog, Reader, Stats) are perfectly fine. It’s just the new activity box which refuses to follow the rules. ;)

  Looks like it has been fixed. :)

  I found a new string in GlotPress. After changing it to “j. M” and the string being approved by Automattic, everything looks fine.
