Date found in url for blog posts
-
Hi,
I’ve just noticed that my blog posts’ url’s have dates in them. I find that really odd and I can’t seem to alter the permalink now that they’ve been published.
I’m using theme 2012, is this something WP.com does? I’ve used this theme on another hosting service and the urls do not have dates in them.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We cannot alter permalink structure on free hosted WordPress.com blogs. Every post link has an embedded datestamp and title in it.

Well I could understand that but I paid money this morning for a premium acct. How long would it take for WP to recognize this?

There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes what I sated above nor anything stated here http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

edit: sated was meant to be stated
NOTE: Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades, you ought to be able to request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/cancel-domain/ and Guided Transfers.

Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received. -

Sorry about the missing word.
Do you want Staff to remove the domain mapping so you can get a refund or not? -
No thank you. I’m fine with your answer.
Thank you for your assistance. Have a great night.
