Date not publishing properly

  I just changed the theme of this blog to “bouquet” from “fjord04” . Everything but the date post seems to be working correctly. I have changed the publishing date to December 6, 2014, but it keeps on reverting back to November 30, 2014. How can this be corrected?

  I got it to work by going to the quick edit and changing the date. I would like to know why this didn’t work correctly from the post page.

  I don’t have an answer for that. I assume there was a temporary delay while cached content updated. That is, of course, assuming your date and timestamps are correctly set. You will want to confirm that.

  The default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General.

  Select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu you see there and then click “save changes”.

  Themes are retired when they no longer support all WordPress.COM features. Retired themes remain available to older blogs but not to newly created ones. Existing blogs running retired themes are generally unaffected and can continue to use the retired theme, but some inconsistencies in feature support may arise.
