Hi milkasemova,
Thanks, this date is coded into the theme so it won’t be possible to change the format and include a copyright symbol. However, you could add a copyright notice containing © 2018 to a text widget instead — the Dara theme supports widgets in both the sidebar and footer areas.

Actually, this date has an Edit button and is not embedded into the picture – it is just not active in my console.
It is not logical to have a date of creation on a web site, as on a blog or blog post…
Please have a closer look. It should simply read © 2018
Thank you very much! -
Hi –
I’ve had a look and the edit link that you mention is for the post connected there. The posts display a full date per the theme set up.
That can be seen here on the Dara Theme demo:
https://darademo.wordpress.com/ -
Does it mean that if I put a theme of my own or another one (not Darea) there will not be date?
-
Yes, not every theme uses this. It’s part of the Dara theme.
If you go to https://wordpress.com/themes/ you can browse through them and look at the demo sites to have a closer look before you commit to any changes.
I’m happy to answer any other questions that you run in to as you look.

Hello, on the same topic again – I found this in the script:
<time class=”entry-date published” datetime=”2018-07-10T12:42:16+00:00″>July 10, 2018</time>
I just can not change it.
It turns out imposible to chose another topic, as the previews don’t really show such details… -

I’m afraid not, this level of customisation isn’t supported on our paid plans. The only way you could possibly do this would be to install a custom plugins — which can only be installed on sites using the Business plan.
