Date of post

  post with past date
  I want to post old diary entries with the date (such as 15 Feb 2013), but anything I post gets today’s date by default.
  How do I get the correct date?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  In the Publish box to the right of the post in the edit screen, click the “Edit” link next to Publish immediately.

  This will allow you to change the date and time to what you want.

  Yes, thank you. That is exactly what I needed. Didn’t want to start posting until I knew the answer, because I assumed you couldn’t change afterwards.

  Only remaining inherent problem is that to read the diary from past to present is difficult because each month’s archive shows the posts in reverse order (Feb 28 before Feb 5) and it requires clicking back to older several times.

  Suppose you can’t have everything.

  Have now posted Feb, March and April, just 120 posts to go….
