date on url

Hi there,
How can i remove dates on the url’s of pdf files?
Please note that the option ‘Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders’

Thanks for your response,,,
This is my website: https://problemsolvinghub.wordpress.com/
It’s in free plan, but before upgrading it, i want to be sure that i can publish pages in pdf format without date and wp in url. -
Hello again, Any file you upload to your WordPress.com site, media in all forms, will have both the date and yoursite.wordpress.com as a part of its URL. There’s no way around that. Keep in mind also that if your WPcom website is Public, any file in your site’s Media Library is discoverable by search engines.
One workaround is to upload those files to a different cloud service like dropbox, etc.
I hope that helped answer your question. If it didn’t please let me know more details about what you’re trying to achieve.

Thanks a lot,
Your answer is very helpful, now i know that there isn’t any way to get rid of this issue even by upgrading the website. I think i should delete my website. Thanks again,
