Date option for Archives shortcode

  I’m just adding a ‘archives’ page to my blog, as I find readers tend to miss the “older posts” links and not find older content. It would be really nice if there was an option to display the post date when using the Archives shortcode in postbypost mode. It could just use the default date format set for the blog itself.

  I agree that would be a nice addition. My suggestion is to send that request directly into staff so that they can log it into their features request list for consideration. Although staff comes through the forums once in a while, there is no guarantee they will see this thread. http://support.wordpress.com/contact/
