date problem
-
The date shows correctly on my options page but on my blog itself it is a day behind. How can I correct that? Thanks.

On the bottom of the settings page reset the default date to Sunday – I think that might be your issue. I’ve been looking into what might be your issue…
You’re in the Netherlands? UTC +1 or 2?
I suspect it’s the Default Day and not the time setting that is causing the problem.

Thanks, I’ll look into it and see if I can fix it. By the way, no, I am not in the Netherlands although I did write a couple of posts from there recently.

What country are you in and I can verify your settings for your time. I was going off an article on your blog.

Where on your blog itself are you saying it’s a day behind? WordPress Days are different – like on the forums right now – it will always be UTC time. For everybody everywhere. It says 5:06am on my most recent forum post yet it’s really 12:06 my time for example. But that is just forum.

Yes, it is set to -8. At the bottom of the options page it asks which day weeks of the calendar should be and I have already put Sunday. So I guess there is some other problem?

When exactly did you post it? You can talk in your time and date, I can relate I’m on the East Coast your Country 3 hours difference.

Well, I feel really stupid, but I was having problems with the date several days ago. I messed around with the options page until the output date was correct. But the date on my blog still was not the same as on the options out put. Maybe it just took awhile to change on my blog? so just now when I looked at my most recent post, which WAS posted on the 18th, I was obviously confused thinking that since today is the 19th the problem was not fixed! Sorry! I feel like I’ve wasted your time.
