Date stamp

  The date stamp on my blogs are not correct. The date on my comments are correct, just not on the post. I’m not sure if this is an issue I can correct myself or need assistance with. Help?

  Hey there, I took a look at your site (thanks for reminding me to drink more water) but I can’t really tell what the date stamps should be :) Can you link to a specific post you’re seeing the issue, and what you expected to see there instead of what’s showing up?

  And don’t forget to hydrate!

  Thank you for responding! I’m quite new to this site so I may stumble. to answer your question, its all of my posts that are having this issue. It’s not a problem with placement or format more along the lines that they are posting a day ahead. For example, yesterday’s posts were date stamped for today. One day difference isn’t much of a big deal, but if fixable I’d sure love to correct it. Also while I have your attention, I received you’re response through a personal email on my yahoo. without responding first I curiously went searching on this site for this page and vwuala I found it! Is there a specific way I’m supposed to respond to these posts or to find my “post” on this forum? For the convenience of future forum posts. Also thank you for reading my blog, I truly appreciate it.

  It won’t take long to get used to things :)

  First off, subscribe to this thread so you’ll get notified and there will be a link to reply or view the thread without having to hunt for it. The subscribe link is right over there on the right hand side of the screen.

  Also, if you need to see your threads to quickly get to one, click on your name where it says Welcome (your name). That will give you a list of posts you posted to.

  Now, as for your post dates, I think they look correct to me. For example, the post I saw yesterday at the top of the list, Choices, had yesterday’s date. The current first post, about food, is dated today.

  The first thing to check is your timezone settings on your site. You can get there through WP Admin under “general settings”, here’s a direct link to the correct section. https://theloveyourselfdiary.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php

  It’s based on GMT, US Eastern time is UTC -5. Mountain time would be GMT -7.
