Dates not flowing correctly

  Hi

  My front page is displaying posts infinitely – i have changed the setting but it still does.

  And as you go down the front page, June will appear before august. It should be chronological order, with the most recent 5 posts appearing … but that isnt happening.

  Can anyone help out?

  When dates are an issue the first thing to check is the date stamps and timestamps here > Settings > General. The default timezone is UTC time and that’s the page where you change it to your own timezone.

  If you have multiple sticky posts http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts and if you remove the sticky designation they will be in correct order for blogs which is reverse chronological order with the most recent post on top.

  Have you done any customizations or used any kind of HTML codes like DIV tags?

  There was another thread very similar to this a few days ago where someone found a misplaced or unclosed HTML tag that threw the formatting out of sequence. I don’t remember what the thread title was though.
