  Can I back date the publication dates on blog posts? I am changing from another platform and moving over to wordpress. Unfortunately, I cannot export my 150 blog posts from the old platform and will have to cut and paste them into wordpress (I think!) . . . if I do this, can I back date the posts so the original publication date is on each one?

  Hi mempatterson,

  Yes, that shouldn’t be a problem at all! If you create or edit a post, you’ll be able to see a Publish section on the right of the content box. If you click on edit next to Publish immediately, you’ll be able to change the post’s date and time.
