  How do I deactivate my blog

  Hello @beautifuloracle,
  If you are the owner & admin of the account that has your blog, then you can delete it by following the instructions given here:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  NOTE: Deleting a blog will delete all the contents associated with it, which cannot be recovered and the address associated with the deleted blog cannot be used by anyone again(not even by the owner).

  So if you just want to start over by keeping your current blog address you can empty your site, instead of deleting it.

  Also, If you are not comfortable deleting it yourself and need someone from the staff to do it, then please tag this question with the modlook tag on the Tags section of the sidebar, so that this thread gets the staff’s attention

  And if you do not want to delete your blog to deactivate it, Private you blog so that no one can access it.
