deactivate a blog

  Hi,
  I’d like to two do one of two things: 1) remove/hide a post from appearing ‘live’ on my page, but not delete it forever, or 2) deactivate/suspend my blog, but not delete it forever.

  If you could walk me through either process, that would be great!

  1) You can set a post to private by following the instructions in this support guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#private-post

  2) Check the third site visibility option listed in this support document: https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
