  I want to totally deactivate my account. How do I do that?

  Hello!

  Do you mean the specific blog site? or the entire account?

  If you mean the blog site, try this!

  On the main dashboard of WordPress.com where your blog name is located in the left navigation bar you will see the ellipsis (or “…”, the 3 periods). Click the ellipsis and you will see a cog come up, which is the site settings and a bubble will tell you this when you hover over it. Once in the site settings, on the general page, scroll all the way to the bottom. Here you will see delete site.

  thanks for your response beaulieustefan. i meant the entire account. would you happen to know how? i can’t find the option for it

  Hello,

  Unfortunately accounts cannot be deleted. You can easily empty your site hereand then delete your sitehere. You can then remove all your personal settings.

  You can also unsubscribe from emails in your subscription settings and check the box that says Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on WordPress.com.
