  I would like to deactivate my account on wordpress. How do I do that?

  There are several options you can choose from rather than choosing to delete the site permanently. Please keep in mind that once you choose to DELETE a site, you will NEVER be able to re-use its WordPress.com address again.

  * Change your site’s address and keep your content

  * Delete old posts and continue using the same address

  * Empty your site of all its content for a fresh start and continue using the same address

  * Make your site private so only people you invite can see it
