Deactivate my domain, return to original free blog format

  I have my blog under a registered domain, and it is currently http://ironandbone.com
  But I want to revert it back to the free version that was http://wordpress.com/ironandbone or whatever it was originally. I basically just don’t want to pay for it anymore. How do I do this?

  On the Store page of your dashboard, make sure you have NOT chosen “auto-renewal” for the domain mapping upgrade. Then just let it expire.
