Deactivate old address but still have access later

  I changed my blog address and want to deactivate it so the url doesn’t work anymore, but I might want to use that address later. What should I do?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

  There is no such thing as temporarily deactivating any URL unless you mean making the site visibility private. See option 3 here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
