deactivate site

  Any way to deactivate site so that no one can access it for now until I completely revise it?
  For now i’ve made it ‘hidden’ and only accessible to me and those I approve. Does that mean that no one can see it but me right now? No one is following me. Thanks

  Yes, your site is currently hidden to the public. When someone tries to access it they see the following message…

  ‘This site is marked private by its owner. If you would like to view it, you’ll need permission from the site owner. Request an invite and we’ll send your username to the site owner for their approval.’
