Deactivating blogs due to inactivity

    Does anyone know if WordPress admin can pull a blog due to inactivity ? I have tried to contact the blog owner but have had no response and there are just four posts all on Nov 5 2006.

    Hi. Sorry, but to my knowledge, WordPress.com does not deactivate blogs due to inactivity. If your intention was to take over an address because it is inactive, you’ll have to choose another address or even better: use a domain name of your choice and map it:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/

    Even when a blog is deleted (by the blogger, or for violating the TOS), its name cannot be re-used:

    Delete a Website
