Deactivating Domain and Reimbursement

    Please could you deactivate the domain http://www.e-hconstruction.com and provide a refund.

    Refunds https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/ are time limited.
    WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours. It takes from 1 – 2 weeks or 7 – 10 business days for the refund to be received.

    Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.

    You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew.

    You can manage all of your WordPress.com purchases by navigating to the Me section of WordPress.com and then choosing the option to Manage Purchases from the sidebar.

    Select any purchase in order to view options for managing it. The options available will be different based on the upgrade you choose.

    Hi there,

    You can cancel the domain via the Purchases page, here:

    For me to cancel the domain for you I’ll need you to confirm you understand the following.

    Cancelling a domain means you give up ownership of that domain name. The domain name may not be released immediately, and there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to register it again (here or elsewhere) in the future. Only cancel a domain if you’re sure you don’t want to use it at all any more. If you still want to use it elsewhere, I can help you map it to a different host instead. After you’ve owned it for 60 days you can transfer it away if you prefer.

    Additionally, your account is not the account that bought the domain. Ownership was transferred to your account from the username, hornerconstruction1. Any refund will be issued back to that username account, not yours, as you did not pay anything for the domain to start with.
