Deactivating old account

  Hi!
  I have an ancient account floating around that I’m hoping to get deactivated. I no longer have access to the email it was made with and none of the verification details that the account recovery form requires.
  I read that I could request to have it switched to private but I couldn’t find another way to contact anyone about doing that. Any help is appreciated!
