Dead header tab remains after page deleted and switch back from static front pg
-
After trying out a static front page for a couple of days, I decided to go back to displaying the latest posts on the front page. I made the change in Reader Settings, then deleted the content-free “Posts” page which made a header tab directing traffic to the posts while using a static front page.
Problem:
The “Posts” header tab remains, as a ghost, after the switch back from static front page, and deletion of the page. It’s now creating a 404 error for any visitor who clicks on it. Why is this phantom still there. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Why does “Posts” header tab repeatedly disappear, reappear w/ Static Front Page? .When I first changed to a static front page, the “Posts” tab would appear and disappear, seemingly randomly, until it finally “stuck,” as it were. Now it’s sticking when it shouldn’t even exist.
