Dead Links on Home Page
-
I tried creating links to some of my portfolio pieces on the home page of my website (i.e. portfolio projects tagged with ‘video’ appear on the ‘video’ link in menu sidebar), but now the links appear to be dead. Can you help me relocate them? The projects still exist in the portfolio but the thumbnails containing/appropriate links are now giving a ‘page not found’ error.

Hello @jpaskoff
The links point to the portfolio project types “video-promotional” and “article”.In this case, the first step would be to check if the project-types are actually present on the portfolio projects and if any projects are assigned to that project type.
So to do that, go to to your portfolio page: https://wordpress.com/types/jetpack-portfolio/ and then click the 3-dots “•••” beside each project and click Edit.
On the sidebar of the project editor you will find the Project Types tab, click on that. See if there you can see the project types “video-promotional” or “article” there. If you cannot click on ADD NEW PROJECT TYPE.
After adding the project type, click UPDATE. Repeat these for all your portfolio projects.

Let us know if these help. Thanks! 🙂
