Dead URL/namespace

  How can I recover http://alexchik.wordpress.com? It used to belong to me but it no longer appears on my dashboard. There were some bugs that I ran into last year with logins that made be abandon WordPress.com last year; this was one of them. I’m back for an another shot and I am curious if someone has some insight?

  Alex: the tables on that blog were damaged. We can reactivate the URL with an empty blog for you. Unfortunately it has been gone so long that our backups don’t go back that far, so it’s unlikely we can recover its content.

  Try Yahoo and, if you can get to it, Yahoo China. Seriously, I don’t think they EVER delete anything from their cache.
