Dealing with slow connections

    Hi

    I travel a lot and often have to deal with really slow connections. I’m just about to set up my blog and would like to do it in a manner that will cause me as little future grief as possible. I would like to post 5-10 jpg and maybe 1 video, which would run for about one minute, as well as text, on each post.

    >Will the following effect my ability to post efficiently when working on a slow connection?

    1. Will my choice of theme
    2. Will the physical location of my hosting site

    Is there anything else I should take into consideration when setting up the blog?
