Deamhost Help!!!

  We have already purchased our domain name through Dreamhost and now we cannot figure out how to upload our content from WordPress to this domain. Can anyone help?

  You will have to install the wordpress software at dreamhost, configure it, and export your stuff from here and import it into the new blog at dreamhost.

  Thanks–we uploaded the blog to dreamhost, but for some reason our theme isn’t coming through–is there a trick to getting that to work?

  The theme is not exported, and it would not work with your self-hosted blog. Themes at .COM are modified to work with the multi-user version of wordpress used here, and for the additional built-in features.

  You can download pressrow here, http://www.pearsonified.com/themes , and then you will have to install it in your new blog. Do note that the theme for self-hosted blogs may have been updated several times since the version that .COM has, so it may not be the same.

  Thank you so much for your help–one last question (we think):

  Our pages aren’t showing up when we access bellebronze.com–the theme is now working (yay) but we still aren’t seeing all of our content on the site. Is there an easy fix for this?

  As far as I can tell you haven’t imported anything to the new blog. See the link I gave you above on moving to .ORG.
