Dear All! My Post By Email Stopped Working!

    Dear all, I have a blog hosted on http://www.7zao8zao.com (using GoDaddy hosting). I previously set up ‘Post by Email’ function and had no problems posting for a couple of years but somehow it just stopped worked a few months ago. I followed the instructions on https://wordpress.com/support/post-by-email/ and I clicked my Profile and clicked on Manage Blogs, but it showed that my profile has no blog to manage! I also logged in to my mom’s account and my dad’s account (they’re all users and posters to the blog) and there is no blog to manage under their name too. So, I’m just puzzled now, who owns this blog and how can I get to the ‘Manage Blogs’ menu and get my ‘Post by Email’ to work again? Thanks! =)

    Dear macmanx, thank you so much for helping me out! I did already have Jetpack and I did follow as much of the tutorials as I could, however, I tried sending posts to the email twice and it still couldn’t work.

    Does it have anything to do with my IMAP settings or email server? Or can I just use the “secret email” from any device, from any email account to post? Thanks pal! This is really my Dad’s blog and you’re really helping me help him greatly! =)

    It is very odd. The worst part is, I don’t even know who is the owner of this blog, and yet all three of us can access it. It makes no sense. If I log in to my WordPress account and click Manage Blog, I should be able to see my Blog. Yet, I logged in to my WordPress account, my mom’s WordPress account and my Dad’s WordPress account and none of these account owns the blog. And when I try to follow your link https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/ and log in, it doesn’t let me log in either because it says I do not have an account. This is very frustrating and if I cannot fix this, I will have to move my family’s blog entirely. =(

  • I’m afraid the WordPress.org forums require a separate account to log in and post because they are not connected with the WordPress.com forum system.
